Ecolo-Systems Black Water treatment technology is a highly efficient biological modified activated sludge treatment system, that has the ability to remove up to 95% BOD, COD, TSS, G&O, even under high organic load and flow conditions. INSTALLATION & OPERATING ADVANTAGES
The result is odorless treated water that can be discharged into aquifers, rivers, lakes or sea, or reused for WC urinals, fountains, irrigation, car or power washing and industrial equipment cleaning. Its modularity allows the optimization of the design, making it easy to assemble on a concrete slab build by local labor as well as the full usage of the available space, which contemplates the possibility to be expanded in and economic and efficient way if needed. This design allows us to send the complete plant with all its components in one shipment – optimizing transportation costs. High efficiency pumping, aeration, filtration and distribution equipment allows the maximum energy cost savings and the lowest operation and maintenance costs. Our System Components
The system is composed of modular tanks, made of hot-dip galvanized 14 caliber steel sheets, with a bolt between them coated with a Butyl resin. The tanks have triple protection:
1) Galvanized by hot immersion
2) Epoxy painting and
3) Cathodic protection with high purity magnesium anodes The operational life is guaranteed for 20 years and one-year on parts and components. The equipment consists of: - Primary Digester tank with roofing panels of galvanized steel sheets or fiberglass.
- Aeration tanks with fine bubble diffusers for air injection. The number and diameter of the aeration tanks will depend on the capacity specifications of the treatment system.
- Clarifier tanks with steel spillway and surface skimmer.
- Contact tank with interior bulkheads and duplex pumping system for filtering water, base of stainless steel submersible pumps and a Sludge Digester tank.
- Duplex Blower unit: The automatic operation and alternating power is chosen according to design requirements, and calculated with the specific height above sea level for maximum efficiency. The unit has a control panel that allows manual and automatic alternation functions with an automatic timer that allows to program operation hours of each blower unit. PVC lines sch. 80 for the hydraulic eductor and galvanized iron sch. 40 for air supply.
- Disinfection unit: Calcium hypochlorite tablets dispenser or similar.
